LOS ANGELES, 28 MARCH – Verity Systems, the world’s leading manufacturer of hard drive degaussers and destroyers have revealed new VS Protect extended warranties that will support product lifecycles, enhancing data security for organizations and businesses.
VS Protect will enable governments as well as businesses and educational institutions to extend the original manufacturer guarantee on select hard drive degausser and destroyer products. In addition, VS Protect will provide comprehensive product repair and tech support during an extended warranty period of up to 3 years beyond the original manufacturer’s base warranty.
Eligible hard drive degaussers and destroyers including the NSA listed Crunch 250 Hard Drive Destroyer and SDD Master Degausser will benefit from 1, 2 or 3-year extended warranties that will enable organizations to receive added protection, and unit maintenance in case of faults.

Verity Systems revealed this week two types of extended warranties: VS Protect and VS Protect+ for businesses. These extended warranties range between 1 and 3 years for organizations that want maximum protection.
