Verity Systems launches MediaGone 500 Flash Media and SSD Shredder

LONDON, 4 OCTOBER – Verity Systems, the world’s leading manufacturer of data destruction products, has revealed its newest unit, the MediaGone 500 Flash Media and SSD Shredder.

The MediaGone 500 uses the latest precision engineering to crush SSDs and a variety of flash media providing businesses and institutions with a new destruction capability.

Designed to destroy media into small particles with the press of the button, the unit comes in two varieties; a table top mounted version or with a wheeled trolley. Operators can use the machine’s fast destruction cycle to achieve exceptional results within seconds. Media can be inserted and observed while being destroyed through its polycarbonate dome with reinforced glass.

From SSD hard disks to flash media and mobile phones, the MediaGone 500 can be used in an office environment and draws power from a standard socket.

Its table top mounted model allows media particles to be collected through a 5.3 litre drawer while the trolley version includes a 25 litre collection bin for higher volume users with an infrared detection system to notify operators once full.

Up to 500 flash dives, 100 SSDs or 45 smartphones can be destroyed every hour through the machine which meets the latest DIN 66399 and industry safety specifications.
