Mechanical Roots release new single “The Fight”

The melodic-alt rock group Mechanical Roots from Los Angeles has just released a new song titled “The Fight.” The song, which the band themselves wrote, encourages listeners to keep moving on and fighting even when life knocks you down repeatedly.

Lead singer, Kev O’Brien reflected on the release and said, “This song is a special one for me. It takes on the feeling of battling your inner demons. After the pandemic I felt a lot of people were going through self struggle. This was my way of getting me through it.”

The Los Angeles-based quartet has been hard at work perfecting their explosive sound since 2020. They are reviving the Southern California music scene and beyond with hard-hitting, melodic alt rock music. The band has continuously captivated fans with their fantastic live presentation at renowned clubs throughout Los Angeles, including The Viper Room, The Whiskey A Go Go, House of Blues, and many more, as live performances have made a comeback.

The band, which is fronted by guitarist, singer, and songwriter Kev O’Brien, also includes bassist Nick Diiorio, Patricia Teles on drums, and Michael O’Grady on guitar. The group has a history of releasing fresh singles that quickly win over fans.
