Tottenham Hotspur Football Club and TUMI announced this week a new official partnership, making TUMI an official sponsor of the club’s pre-season tour of Korea in July. TUMI will provide all of the travel accessories and luggage for the squad and the Club.

The global travel and lifestyle company TUMI is known for its products’ superior craftsmanship, robustness, and resilience. The 19 Degree Extended Trip Expandable 4 Wheel Packing Case and the classic Alpha Bravo Search Backpack from TUMI, both made of recycled materials, will be given to each member of the Tottenham Hotspur tour team in order to make their travels easier.

Son Heung-min, the Premier League’s Golden Boot winner and a player for Tottenham Hotspur, is already a TUMI brand ambassador. This strengthens TUMI’s relationship with Son as a Tottenham Hotspur Official Partner and offers a chance to help his teammates.

Speaking about his Club’s new partnership with TUMI, Son said: “I’m so happy that my partner, TUMI, is supporting my Club this summer for our tour. I’m excited to have my teammates join me in my home country. It’s perfect for them to arrive in style thanks to TUMI.”

“We are committed to perfecting the journey and have been long inspired by Son’s unwavering dedication to be the best he can be, both for his team and representing his home country. We couldn’t be more thrilled to expand our partnership to support his full team on this momentous trip and look forward to welcoming them to Korea,” said Jay Jeong, Brand Head of TUMI Korea.

To commemorate this collaboration, TUMI Korea will introduce a unique programme in-stores and online at TUMI.CO.KR.

Todd Kline, Tottenham Hotspur’s chief commercial officer, stated, “We are thrilled to have established this alliance with TUMI. The Club and TUMI share the same unwavering standards and commitment to driving greatness; we are aware that our athletes and delegation have active lifestyles and are frequently on the go, bringing their most valuable belongings with them. In order for the team to continue performing at the top level, we wanted to provide them with high quality travel and lifestyle products that offered them both flair and functionality.”

The collaboration with Tottenham Hotspur is the second of its sort where TUMI will act as an Official Partner, in keeping with the company’s recent sports ambitions. As the team’s Official Luggage Partner, TUMI signed a multi-year collaboration with the McLaren Racing Team in 2019.

TUMI is available both offline and online. Two Coupang Play Series games are part of Tottenham Hotspur’s preseason tour of South Korea. First, on July 13 at the Seoul World Cup Stadium against Team K League, and then on July 16, 2022 at the Suwon World Cup Stadium against Sevilla FC. Both games have already reached capacity.
