Weeknights at 10 p.m. ET, “Banfield” provides in-depth coverage of the day’s main news items and newsmakers. Banfield, an Emmy, Telly, Iris, Gracie, and National Headliner Award winner, worked as a legal analyst and host for Court TV and was a regular contributor to Investigation Discovery’s ID “Murder Mystery” series before joining NewsNation.

Throughout her 34-year career, Banfield has hosted the A+E prime-time series “Live Rescue,” HLN’s “Primetime Justice with Ashleigh Banfield” CNN’s “Legal View with Ashleigh Banfield” and co-anchored CNN’s “Early Start.”

She has also worked for ABC News as a correspondent and anchor, reporting for shows such as “Good Morning America,” “20/20,” “ABC World News Tonight,” and “Nightline.” Prior to joining ABC, Banfield was the anchor, host, and creator of three TruTV shows. She hosted “Ashleigh Banfield: On Location,” “Newsfront: with Ashleigh Banfield and Lester Holt,” and “Homepage” with Mika Brzezinski and Gina Gaston on MSNBC. She also worked as an anchor and reporter for The Today Show, NBC Nightly News, and Dateline.

The National Association of Broadcasters Broadcasting Hall of Fame, into which Holt will be inducted, honors radio and television personalities or programs that have made a mark on broadcasting history.
